banjodating.com was launched in April 2004 with a desire to simplify the challenge of finding the best dating site. Especially for someone new to the internet or new to online dating or internet dating the number of sites available must seem very daunting.

Often it isn't clear how much needs to be paid in fees, or for how long, and we want to help avoid the situation where people sign up only to find that there are so few members in their area, or so few dates available. We have signed up to the major sites - and some of the more obscure ones too and so can give a quick snapshot of what type of site it is. We also visit dating advice sites so people can take things at their own speed and be prepared before "taking the plunge".

We will also be working with dating sites so that we will be paid for referrals to them, but we will not be explicitly recommending a site  - we will detail the features a site may have but as far as we are concerned all sites are equal and it is for our visitors to decide which site is best for them.
